How to Fulfill the Minimum Credits of the International Language Courses
- Take the international language courses which can be regarded as major courses.
- Credits from Cross Listing(C/L) courses and undergraduate-graduate courses do not count as double.
eg) A student whose 1st major is Economics while their 2nd major is Business will only get 3 credits even though he/she took a C/L course that is regarded as a major course in both Economics and Business.
- Credits from SKKU’s international partner universities or SKKU ISS are regarded as credits of an international language course, not credits from SKKU’s domestic partner universities.
- The requirements in Sungkyun Humanity/Liberal Arts/Fundamental course categories are not applicable to a transfer student, but he/she needs to fulfill the requirements in the major course category.
- The Departments of Korean Language & Literature and Korean Literature in Classical Chinese and Classical Chinese Education do not impose a minimum credit requirement of international language courses. However, their students still need to fulfill the minimum requirements in the Sungkyun Humanity/Liberal Arts/Fundamental course categories. If students have dual majors, they need to fulfill the requirements of their 2nd major.
eg) If a student in the Dept. of Korean Language & Literature has Economics as his/her 2nd major, he/she needs to acquire 6 international language course credits from Sungkyun Humanity/Liberal Arts/Fundamental course categories and 9 credits in their major (Economics) course category as well.

Sungkyun Humanity/Liberal Arts/Fundamental Courses for Transfer Students
- A transfer student needs to take a 2 credit course in one of the Sungkyun Humanity/Liberal Arts/Fundamental categories even if he/she has completed the Liberal Arts/Fundamental categories at their former university. This is waived for those who joined before 2012.
