Public Call for Scholarship Awards
The Ministry of Science and Technology of the Republic of Srpska, Fund “Dr Milan Jelic”, Bosnia and Herzegovina, announced the public competition for scholarships awards to students of Undergraduate, Master and PhD Studies from the Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina who study at universities abroad for academic 2017/2018 year.
Eligibility
A full-time student of undergraduate, master and PhD studies at higher education institutions abroad can apply for scholarship awards under following conditions that:
- is a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Srpska,
- has a permanent place of residence at the territory of the Republic of Srpska,
- is a full-time student of undergraduate, master, or PhD academic studies,
- has not renewed any academic year,
- is not older than 24, 25, 26 or 27 years old for students whose study programs last three, four, five and six years respectively (for undergraduate students); and he/she is not over 28 years old for master students; or 32 years old for PhD students on the day of the announcement of the public Call;
- has a grade-point average higher than 9.50, except for students studying at higher education institutions which are ranked in World Top 200 at the Thompson and/or Shanghai lists of universities, and who can apply under condition that they have a grade-point average higher than 9.00.
Criteria
The criteria for application assessment are:
- Grade-point average,
- Year of undergraduate study, and passed all required exams (only for undergraduate students),
- The rank of higher education institution at the Thompson and /or Shanghai lists of universities, and
- The student's achievements in science, arts and innovation according to the criteria given in the Rulebook.

- Undergraduate scholarships (522.000,00BAM)
- Master scholarships (75.000,00BAM)
- PhD scholarships (100.000,00BAM)

Citizenship Requirements
The citizenship of the Republic of Srpska, and Bosnia and Herzegovina with a permanent residence in the Republic of Srpska is required.
