[Changes on course registration starting from 2019]
· No limit on course retaking period (Previously: Must retake within 4 semesters)
- You may retake the course even after 4 semesters have passed from initial course taking period
· No limit on the number of retaking times
- You may retake courses more than 3 times
· No course registration period difference between campuses
- Register course only based on semester of study(For further information, refer to course registration schedule below)
· Protection system for the buy/sell of rights for taking courses
- If there are drops for the courses which are already full, slot will be restored after random period of time during the course change and confirmation period. (Only for courses that are full)
· Extension of course changing and confirmation period
- Period of for course change and confirmation would be extended to 8 days after semester starts.(7 days for change)
[Notice on Course Registration]
You may login before your course registration opens.
- Login of users would be processed strictly in order. If you re-login while in queue, your entry would be relocated to the end of the queue.
A student must register for courses every semester.
Notice on course registration of Core major 100% departments
- Core major 100% departments: Business administrations, Economics, Statistics, Korean language and literature, Global Economics, Computer Education, Department of Fashion Design, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
- Core major 100% departments opens core major courses only for the required credits for graduation. To graduate, you must take all the core major courses opened for the department.
ex) For Business administration students who joined in 2018, the number of credits that one should take is 24 credits and yearly opened core major courses consist of 8 courses which is 24 credits in total.
- Based on the purpose of departments presented above, if students who major or multiple-major in core major 100% departments take other departments C/L ‘core major’courses, it would be regarded as ‘general major courses’.
※ If one take course from other department that is not C/L course, it will be considered as ‘Elective’ (Non-Major course)
You may request increase the size of class to the professor
- Menu: You may request increase of class size on GLS-[Book Bags]
- Whether to increase or not depends on the decision of the professor. The decision will be posted on the Undergraduate notice board.
- If there is increase in class size during the course registration period(when waiting number is given), slot will be opened by number of semesters. Additional course registration will be done following the waiting number the student received.
- During the course changing and confirmation period(when the waiting number do not exist), the slot will be opened regardless of number of semesters. Additional course registration will be done from the opening of the course registration system.
Waiting numbers would be given to those on hold.(Only for regular semesters)
※ Starting from 2018 Fall Semester, the same system would be applied to Graduate School course registration.
Macro or multi-login would be prohibited from use.
- If the number of clicks calculated exceeds that of our guidelines, ‘Macro Prevention System’ would be operated automatically.
- If you run more than one windows in a single computer or open course registration tabs in both PC and Mobile simultaneously, your access to course registration site will be limited.
Please read “Course Registration Manual” carefully, and note the latest modifications to our course registration system.
By using GLS [Book Bag] menu, one can modify priority orders of courses in one’s book bag shown in course registration web-site.
[2019 Spring Semester Course Registration Schedule]
Course Registration Schedule
- Course registration for Graduate/Exchange students will start from 13th, one day earlier than undergraduate students.
- Starting from 2019, course registration is available regardless of campuses.
- Available hours for course add/drops (change of course registration) : 10:00~23:00
- For first semester of transfer students, date for course registration will be on date for freshmen/transfer students. Starting from second semester, course registration will be done corresponding to the semester of study.
- Semester for course registration depends on the‘Expected enrollment semester’(Number of semesters that the tuition is paid)
- Exchange students can register course only within the‘exchange student slot’
- You may drop registered courses regardless of assigned periods for your own academic semester.

Schedules for Course add/drops (change of course registration)
- During the course changing period, waiting numbers would not be given. Course Registration of students would be processed on a first-come-first-served basis.
- During the course changing period, vacancies will be available regardless of students’ semester of study. However, vacancies only for exchange students will not be available to others.
- Course changing period will be extended to Wednesday of second week after starting of the semester

- As for inquiries related to class capacity and waiting numbers, please contact department/major offices or ‘One-Stop Service Center (학사바로센터)’ (1811-8585).
-‘Special Slots (특별 인원)’ refers to slots open for students from different majors only.
-‘Exchange Student Slots’ refers to slots open for exchange students only.
- Double-majoring students can register their second-major courses as ‘major courses.’
- Sophomores who are expected to join specific major after their freshmen year are restricted from using [Search by Your Own Major] service. Please use [Search by Entire Majors] or [Book Bag] services instead.
- As for Graduate School students who wish to register for prerequisite courses, please click on [Prerequisite Registeration] button.
2019 Spring Schedules for Online Course Exams at Campus

- Finals: 2019.6.15(Sat)~16(Sun)
※ Detailed schedules and venues for the exams would be notified via I-campus website, 3 to 4 weeks before the exam date.
